I guess I am not the only person who is curious!! I always like to know a little about the person who's web site I'm visiting. That is the purpose of creating a web site....isn't it??? Well now to tell you about myself.....my name is Debbie Robinson and I live in the Bridgeport area of West Virginia. By day I work at Philips Lighting Company as a dispatcher for dedicated drivers. The drivers transport all the raw materials to our facility that are needed for the production of our products. I work in the warehouse and I am involved in the shipping of the finished products as well. I am also the President of I.U.E. Local 625 salaried unit at Philips Lighting. The International Union of Electrical Workers has recently merged with the Communication Workers (CWA) so we are now CWA/IUE.  As soon as they have their web site ready I will place a link here for them.

When I'm not working I'm usually computing or surfing the net!! But sometimes I actually do something else....like hobbies. One of my favorite hobbies is genealogy, I love digging into history looking for my ancestors. I got started doing genealogy research in the 70's and I've been hooked ever since. I have made many new friends during my journeys and listened to some amazing stories. The reason I created this web site was to share my family history with others that are searching for connections to family members that are lost in history. Also to make our history available to the many family members we have all across the USA, to those known and unknown. You can search my family records by SURNAME or by PERSON , you never know.....we might be kin!!! Be sure to take a look at my family PHOTO ALBUM, there you will see photos of my family tree.

Another favorite hobby of mine is spending the day going to flea markets or yard sales in search of collectibles to add to my many collections. Yes you got it.....I AM A PACK RAT!!! Well, at least I can admit to it! What's even worse ... I'm married to a man that is also a pack rat. Some of the many items we collect are..dolls, stamps, coins, guns, antiques , dishes, fishing lures, tonka trucks, trains, kitchen utensils, cookie jars, stoneware crocks, furniture, collector plates and anything else that you can think of. I know that someday our families will have to deal with all this junk that we have collected and I am sure they will be cursing us.  If you too like to collect antiques stop by Aunt Deb's Attic where you will find some of my collections that are for sell.

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my 'little' sister....I am a Big Sister volunteer with the BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS ORGANIZATION . If you are looking for a way to help the youth of today, this is a wonderful program to become involved with. They give you a chance to share your heart with a child who is needing a friend and a mentor.
