From: "Stephen Panchyshyn" <panchy0001@earthlink.net> To: "Jack R. Voltz (Pirate Pete)" I have a request. Lately, I have been going to banks that are in supermarkets and getting $25 dollar rolls of the Sacagawea dollar. Anyway, I have been making an earnest effort to put them into circulation. Why? I looked at the coin and noticed the subliminal Pro-Life message, Mother AND child! This is the only legal tender bearing a mother and child. Can you put out some word to ask us pro-lifers to get these circulated so we can make the abortionists go mad? |

From: "Andrea Arnoult" <ioujesus@hotmail.com>At www.operationoutcry.org women can print out an Amicus Curiae (Friend of the Court) Brief to sign, adding their names to the list of those who support the overturning of Roe v Wade. If anyone you know has ever had an abortion and now regrets it, there are additional forms for them to tell their story, confidentially if they prefer, in support of petitioning the Justice Department to have Roe v Wade declared a decision that is not in the best interests of women and children. Please pass this information on to anyone you know who may be interested. Thanks and God Bless! Andrea |

Dear Friend of Life: Bill Clinton last year defied the intent of Congress and tortured the law to allow Frankenstein-like experiments on aborted babies. But now the National Institute for Health (NIH) has received applications for funding this 'research' with your tax dollars! NIH is set to release money for this threat to the unborn - BUT THE ACTUAL GRANTS OF MONEY WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL SOMETIME IN MARCH!!! But you can help stop the release of funding for these experiments by acting now! If you will help me right now by signing this petition, we can still persuade President Bush and his new Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson to FREEZE these grants pending further review - and then eliminate them altogether. And make no mistake, such grants are evil and immoral! There is NO moral or scientific justification for this research. It is simply unethical to exploit the death of aborted babies for profit or scientific ambition. Please click HERE to sign our petition to help stop this. Alan Keyes |

To whom it may concern, I am from Belfast Northern Ireland and I am a person (one of many) who is strongly against Abortion. This country has no Abortion clinics whatsoever, something which we devout Christians are very proud of. However, recently we have learnt that our local politicians want to advocate and bring Abortion to our country and this is something that we are apalled at. This strikes at the heart of all who oppose this action by our so-called elected representatives who do not take into consideration those they represent. I am approaching you and your organisation for help and advice as I wish to set up a campaign and organisation to challenge this motion which (and I use loosely) our politicians wish to force upon us. Because we cannot hear the screams doesn't mean its clean The holocaust of the Unborn must be stopped. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, Yours in the fight against Abortion |

From: Brian McCaughey Subject: Please help! Hi there, my name is Mike an I have a problem that I need some help with. A friend of mine has had 2 late term abortions to date and her reason was because "the pill" makes her feel queasy and ill. I have tried to talk to her about other methods and options but she does not listen. In fact she seems to have the attitude that if all else fails an abortion will solve her troubles. I dated her for three years and just found out after our breakup that one of those murders would have been my child. I am so opposed to abortions that I think it may be the reason for her lack of willingness to listen. I don't know what to do or say any longer. If anyone can help please send her some info about other methods [of birth control]. Thanks a lot. Her address is: Nadia Columna 75 Ironstone Dr. Cambridge, ON Canada N1p 1a2 |

From: DAVE’S DIGEST 2000 #8 SUPREME COURT CONSIDERS NEBRASKA PBA BANWashington -- Pro-life advocates across the country are intently focused on the U.S. Supreme Court as it considers its first major abortion case since 1992.Douglas W. Kmiec, a law professor at the University of Notre Dame, said the high court has already set a precedent in establishing that states can place some limits on abortions, including requiring parental notification for abortions performed on minors. While it is unpredictable what the court will do in this case, he said it is very likely that a majority of the justices will be swayed by the descriptions of the particular abortion procedure at issue, "which is very troubling to many people, including people who generally support abortion rights." Clarke Forsythe, president of Americans United for Life, said the court's eventual decision ``will have widespread legal, legislative and medical implications for infant rights.'' "Partial-birth abortion breaches the wall between abortion and infanticide," he added. "Location matters," says James Bopp, who filed a brief on behalf of the National Right to Life Committee. "The right to an abortion arises because the child is inside the mother. But now we have a child that is but inches away from being outside ...." "I think this is a truly national case," Nebraska Attorney General Don Stenberg said. "In all likelihood, the decision in Nebraska will either uphold or lead to the overturning of the laws in virtually every other state" with a ban. In a brief submitted to the Supreme Court in today's case, the Family Research Council urges the Court to "uphold [Nebraska's] partial-birth abortion ban as a reasonable and necessary means of protecting neonatal and partially born human life." FRC argues that "the partial-birth abortion method is akin to infanticide, as a majority of state legislators, governors and members of both houses of Congress already agree." Carrie Gordon Earll of Focus on the Family, said: "The question before the court in Stenberg v. Carhart is whether the highest court in the land will sanction infanticide. Partial-birth abortion is never medically necessary, is actually dangerous to the health of women and brutally kills a living child just inches from birth. Surely our founding fathers never envisioned infanticide as a constitutional right." A Concerned Women for America press release noted: "The use of partial-birth abortion is proof that abortionists will place their own convenience and profits above the patients' health. The arguments against bans on this gruesome method show no concern for the baby or the resulting effects on society. This [Nebraska] case will allow the Supreme Court to deal with the Pandora's box they opened by attempting to legitimize abortion" (The case was opened on April 26th and the court is expected to issue its ruling about the end of June.) Pray for the Supreme CourtFrom: Pirate Pete To: All prolifers and prayer warriors Once again, the Supreme Court of the United States is faced with a monumental choice--whom will they serve? Satan or God? The upcoming decision on partial-birth abortion looms on the horizon, and a decision is expected sometime next month. I hate to say it, but the Supreme Court has an extremely poor track record in decisions related to abortion. Thanks to "Justice" Harry Blackmun, who led the charge to loose the abortion demons on this nation, as a nation, we are now awash with the blood of innocents, blood more than enough to fill the valley of Jezreel to the horse's bridle. The Lord is anguished. The blood of His innocent martyrs cries out for justice to be meted out to our nation and our world. Yet we must pray for God's Mercy, not His Judgment. How easy it would be to throw up our hands and cry out to the Lord, "Punish us, O Lord!" God does not want to chastise us, but in his Justice, He will soon be forced to do just that unless we pray now! Dear Lord, |

From: DFJosephMD@aol.com ALERT: U.S. House to Vote on Partial-Birth Abortion April 5th Washington -- The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to take up the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (HR 3660) ON THE MORNING OF WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5. This is the first time that the House will vote on the issue during the 106th Congress. While the bill will undoubtedly pass the House, we are hoping to once against muster a two-thirds majority, since that is what will later be required if we are to override President Clinton's anticipated veto. Therefore, calls should be generated to House members -- especially those first elected in the 1998 election -- to urge them to (1) support the bill, and (2) vote with the pro-life side against all weakening amendments and motions, including the "motion to recommit." The most recent House vote on banning partial-birth abortions occurred during the 105th Congress, on July 23, 1998 when the House voted 296-132 to override President Clinton's veto of the bill. (The Senate fell three votes short of the two-thirds margin necessary for override in September, 1998.) During the current (106th) Congress, the Senate took the lead, passing a version of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (S. 1692) on October 21, 1999, by a vote of 63-34. Two pro-life senators were absent on that vote, which means that the pro-life side fell only two votes short of showing veto-override strength -- our best showing yet in the Senate. National Right to Life anticipates that opponents of the bill will offer a killer substitute, either as a substitute amendment or as the motion to recommit. Most likely, the gutting alternative will be based on the so-called "Late-Term Abortion Restriction Act" (HR 2149) proposed by Reps. Hoyer and Greenwood, a hollow measure concocted to provide political cover for opponents of the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act. The Hoyer-Greenwood proposal would apply absolutely no restrictions to partial-birth abortions until after a baby is provably "viable" -- that is, in the seventh month or later. Moreover, the Hoyer-Greenwood proposal would allow even the killing of provably "viable" babies in the seventh, eighth, and ninth months to enhance the "mental health" of the mother, as the sponsors explicitly confirmed in a March 16 "Dear Colleague" letter -- even though these infants could enjoy full lifespans if delivered alive. A vote in favor of the substitute will (1) allow partial-birth abortions without meaningful limitation, and (2) to allow even third-trimester abortions, by whatever method, for "mental health," which Mr. Hoyer elsewhere has explained includes "psychological trauma." Legally, this language is all-encompassing. It is no restriction at all. Please call Congress today at 202-224-3121 and encourage your member of Congress to support the ban on partial-birth abortions. Please pass this alert on to every pro-life person you know. |

[Ed. note: I received the following letter from Chris Bell today. If you're trying to figure out what you can do to help the prolife movement, please consider donating to Chris's organization, Good Counsel, a crisis pregnancy hotline center and home for unwed mothers. This is what being prolife is all about!]) February, 2000 A.D. Dear Friend, Sandy's wavy, brown hair bounced when she talked and her eyes lit up when she was excited. That was before drugs. She was going to finish high school, move back in with her father, take care of her newborn son when she first left Good Counsel. It was looking like a success story. Several months later the phone call: "Chris, it's me. How ya doin' today?" the strange voice said. It was trying to sound happy, but had a dull, drawl. I couldn't tell if the person was just waking up or had been drinking. "What happened?" I said. ". . . I used drugs. I want to stop, really. I need more help. Can I come back to the house?" I admit, I was torn. I was worried. I was worried for her, for my staff, for the whole house. Could I trust her? Could I trust us? What could we do? What could she do? In a sheer moment of unknowing, I just say, "Yes. Yes, please come back." "Oh thank you, Chris. Thank you so very much. I'm gonna try real, real hard." God, what else could I do? Lord, how is this supposed to work? Sr. Mary Jo, God rest her soul, was the house manager on Staten Island at the time Sandy came back. "Chris, when she told me she had used drugs, I just thought, she needs help. I thought when I meet Jesus and He asks me how many times you had forgiven her, what can I say? I have to give her another chance." I knew Sister, and Our Lord, were teaching me a lesson. Sandy started going to an outpatient drug program, every day. She was going for weeks, leaving early in the morning, coming home just in time for dinner. Finally, it was determined that Sandy needed a residential drug rehabilitation program. That meant having her son live with another relative, a distant cousin. Sandy agreed and was determined to do better. Sister and I would drive two hours to visit her. She was getting some of her bounce back in her life, but she admitted, that even while she was going to the outpatient drug program while living in our home, she was getting high, smoking marijuana and even snorted coke a few times. We were dumbfounded. Now, I kept thinking, how many times am I suppose to forgive? How many? Then I thought: How many times have I fallen? How many times have I let God down? How many times have I hurt people? I've hurt those I said I loved. I hurt those closest friends. How many times have I disappointed people that I don't even know? I was overwhelmed. Sandy finished the year-long, residential program. She was going into another step, a halfway house to re-enter society and get her son back. That's when we lost touch. That's when she disappeared, again and for good. I'm thinking about her today because I pray for her often. I've seen many, many more Sandys since then. Some have made it. Some have not. How many times? As many, I guess, as God allows. St. Paul wrote to the Christians in Ephesis: "Be kind to one another, compassionate, and mutually forgiving, just as God has forgiven you in Christ." Just as God has forgiven me in Jesus, I pray and try to be forgiving and kind. I know I'm not. I know I fall every day. And I know all I have to do is ask; God forgives. Our Lord forgives and forgives and forgives. More than one can count all the stars. For as long as the oceans rush to the shore. I am sorry and God forgives. Know today, that God forgives. Please help us today offer that forgiveness to another Sandy. Please support Good Counsel. I came in early to the office to write this letter, first stopped in the chapel and before I finished my morning prayers, the phone rang. No one was here and I thought it could be an emergency. It was. "Is this the place that helps mothers?" the young voice asked. Laura was her name. She then told me she had been on the street for the past three days; kicked out by her boyfriend, the father of her two-month-old, who was in her arms. The temperature was actually 13 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, it snowed yesterday and was below freezing the day before that. Now, it's almost 10 P.M. and I have to stop. Laura's in our home with her infant, safe, well fed and warm. Please keep praying for us all. Please send what you can. Because I'm late sending this, if you can send a little extra, that will be a big help. Know you're in my prayers. I will finish my prayers with you on my mind tonight too, along with Laura, Sandy, all the mothers, all the kids. Peace, Christopher Bell P.S. If you could send something extra it would be a really, big help. Please think about it. Thanks. RESEARCH GUIDELINES PUT ANIMALS OVER HUMANSWASHINGTON, Jan 20 (LSN.ca) - A report published by the pro-life committee of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops notes that the draft government document on stem cells justifies the destruction of human embryos "by, among other things, the prospect that use of the resulting cells may reduce the need to use 'laboratory animals' for drug testing (p. 67576). "The human embryo ranks lower in status than a laboratory rat," says the Bishop's letter. WorldNetDaily drew attention to the bishops' letter yesterday noting especially that the deadline for public comment on the proposed guidelines is January 31. "The guidelines instruct researchers in how to harvest versatile 'stem cells' from living week-old human embryos, a procedure which kills the embryos. They also establish standards for harvesting similar cells from dead unborn children following induced abortions," say the bishops. They warn, "only a large volume of critical comments by taxpayers will convince federal lawmakers that people do care about this moral atrocity." Date: Mon, 27 Sep 1999 15:01:13 -0400 From: Austin Ruse <austinruse@c-fam.org> Subject: Friday Fax Media Alert/Vatican Contradicts UNFPA StatementDear Colleague: In a statement released this morning in Rome, Vatican spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls flatly contradicted statements made by UNFPA head Dr. Nafis Sadik last week in London. As you recall, astoundingly Sadik claimed the Vatican position on family planning had changed. If you are with the press, this is breaking news. Spead the word. Yours sincerely, Austin Ruse
FRIDAY FAX September 27, 1999 Volume 2, Special Edition VATICAN CONTRADICTS UNFPA STATEMENT ON INTERNATIONAL FAMILY PLANNING * In a strongly worded statement released today in Rome, Holy See Press Office Director Joaquin Navarro-Valls directly contradicted comments made by the Executive Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in a London speech last week. * In a speech announcing the release of UNFPA’s Annual Report on World Population, Dr. Nafis Sadik said that the Vatican had changed its long-standing opposition to international family planning programs, understood by many to include sterilization and abortion. This would have signaled a significant shift in Vatican policy not just at the UN, but in dogmatic positions Catholics are required to believe. * In his statement, Vatican spokesman Navarro-Valls insisted that “the Holy See has never altered its well-known opposition to abortion or to family planning techniques and policies as proposed by the United Nations Population Fund.” Navarro-Valls took the opportunity not just to contradict the statements of Sadik, but to restate Vatican positions on these controversial topics. * Long accused by it opponents of being uncompromisingly “pro-natal,” Navarro-Valls statement insists that the Holy See “has never supported a notion of procreation at all costs.” However, the statement charges that certain programs promoted by UN agencies do not give proper consideration to what it calls “reciprocity,” which it defines as “the expression of mutual love and decision-making within a stable, conjugal relationship.” Instead, the Holy See believes that some UN programs present “an individualistic and permissive approach to sexual behavior which corrodes an appropriate comprehension of human dignity and the moral responsibility of each person.” * The statement says that such an “individualistic” approach to sexuality “ruins the family, weakens the responsibility of parents and harms the well-being of the children, and results in a highly destabilized effect on society as a whole.” * Most UN observers view the Holy See as the only consistent opponent to aggressive forms of family planning that are promoted in UN conference documents and in programs around the world. Sadik’s comments are seen in the wider context of ongoing attempts to discredit or weaken the position of the Holy See in UN debates. * Sadik’s comments come within weeks of the Holy See’s participation in the five-year review of the Cairo Conference on Population and Development, during which the Holy See differed sharply with UNFPA and most of the industrialized west on the thrust of new ideas in “reproductive rights.” The Holy See joined the consensus on the document, but with a long list of “reservations.” Sadik seems to have used the Holy See’s participation in this conference as an opportunity to mischaracterize the positions of what she sees as her chief opponent. From: Yellowstone <http://www.yellowstoneinfo.com> To: All prolifers Subject: Government seeking scapegoats for the murder of Dr. Slepian Emergency Note For Pro-Life Saints Please clip this and pass on to ALL Christian Contacts EVERYWHERE. Many dozens of people are being ordered to New York to appear before a Grand Jury to testify everything that they know about Dr. S., and the man that Janet is trying to frame for his murder. This is causing great hardship and stress for many. The word is that the government is building a case to FRAME MANY PRO-LIFE RESCUERS and other ASSOCIATES along with the man they are seeking, saying that it was a wide plot of the pro-lifers to kill people - and in this case Dr. S. I know this doesn't make sense to sane people, Christians, but remember who is running the government. Look for this case to develop over the next few months, and for many, many people to be tried in court for this supposed conspiracy. The government is going to say that when these people were in jail together, saving babies around the country, that they were plotting against people and abortion clinics. That by the way is not a very pro-life thing to do. Satan, through your government, is calling good evil, and evil good. What was really happening when these Saints were in jail together was that thousands of Rosaries were being prayed for the little babies and the people that murder them. You know this, and I know this. In taking this action, the government hopes to utterly destroy what is left of the visible pro-life movement in the United States. People in high places say that the case will fail, but in the end, the media will have won another battle, and the administration will have accomplished its job. I beg of you to spread the word. Look, I can hardly get my e-mail to work, but I know that you can do the job. The more coverage the Saints get regarding this diabolical plot against them, the more prayers that they will get. Please get this known. IF YOU CAN GET THE WORD OUT, you may be able to help diffuse this false case against these CHRISTIANS and save them from this trial in their life that they are being subject to BECAUSE THEY LOVE JESUS. YOU WILL ALSO BE SENDING A MESSAGE TO Washington, the UNITED NATIONS And NATO and one to GOD as well - that YOU WILL NOT COWER IN THE FACE OF EVIL!!! God's little babies are depending on you. PLEASE pray hard for everyone involved in pro-life activities at this time. Satan is unleashing his fury. God bless you. Get the word out. Do it now. Jesus Christ Reigns. Don't be afraid to act. In Jesus & Mary, Roger Thibault Yellowstone Information Services Bloomingdale, Ohio (Go Franciscan!) http://www.yellowstoneinfo.com Please copy this. Post this. Put it in your Church bulletins. Let Protestants and Catholics know what is happening the world over. Let's nip this in the bud and let Louis and Janet know what we're made of. PS: There is word in places that Dr. Slepian, who was killed by a government agent(s) was on the road to conversion to Jesus Christ.
