Our Title I math/computer lab is in its fifth year. Our lab is equipped with 13 Compaq computers, 8 K5-100 Magitronic computers, 3 printers, an Olympus digital camera, a HP scanner, and lots of great software. Every class (K-6) comes to the lab for thirty minutes every other day. The students are learning to do fun things on the computers, such as keyboarding, word processing, computer terminology, and programs to enhance the content areas. We are making sure that the students’ math skills are in top form with programs like Compass Learning and "Turbo Math Facts" by Nordic Software. Our students are also improving their reading and writing skills with the Compass Learning programs. Grades 3 through 6 are learning keyboarding skills with "Type to Learn". As you can see, we are trying to make good use of our computer lab. If you haven’t been by to see it yet, come on in and visit us. We will give you the royal tour!
