The third grade teachers have been reading Where The Red Fern Grows to the students. The students have learned about coon hunting. Mrs. Perilli brought her coonskin coat to school and Mrs. Haverty brought a real treeing Walker coon hound, Riggs, to school for a visit with the students. The children and "Riggs" enjoyed watching the movie together.
