Martha Perilli, Title II Teacher
Mrs. Perilli's Title II classes have been working very hard to improve their reading, writing, and math skills. The second graders wrote a class book entitled "Who Lives in that Tree?". Haiku poems were created by Patrick and Daniel in third and fourth grade, and other third graders have been reading lots of stories and are currently reading about native Americans. They are learning some of the Navaho traditions and crafts, too. First graders are reading wonderful books and are learning to add and subtract numbers from 0-10.

The Title I program has focused on helping the students in Grades 4 through 6 in the areas of reading vocabulary, phonics, and reading comprehension. We are working with the children in small groups and in their classrooms to enhance their skills.
